25-26 City of Vancouver, Public Spaces Specialist

This is an AmeriCorps/Washington Service Corps national service position. It is contingent on funding and open until filled. Vancouver combines the excitement of a major metropolitan area with small-town charm. We are a fast-growing and increasingly diverse community in southwest Washington. Engaging our community in caring for our natural spaces is critical to meeting our economic and environmental goals. It also builds community connection and collective commitment to preserving ecosystems. The member will serve in Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Services programs and the Urban Forestry program. They will focus on educating and involving the public in stewardship of urban trees, parks, and more. These positions may have staggered start dates in September in October. We will conduct rolling review of applications and interviews until position is filled. Monthly stipend amount: $3,157.
