25-26 WRC Mt. Adams SD Academic Improvement Tutor

This is an AmeriCorps/Washington Service Corps national service position. It is contingent on funding and open until filled. The Mt. Adams School District is located within the Yakama Indian reservation. Our student population is diverse. We are 50.4% Native American, 41.6% Hispanic, 4.7% 2 or more races, and 3.3% white. Nearly all our students are low income. Our students have academic growth when we use formative classroom and building benchmark assessments. You can help our students succeed by developing positive relationships and providing support. The member will tutor students in reading and math based on their individual needs. Our vision is that each student graduates from Mt. Adams School District prepared for a successful future. We will conduct rolling review of applications and interviews until the position is filled. Monthly stipend amount: $2,380.
