Dreams for Change

We have a few volunteer opportunities.

1. Participant Engagement at our Safe Sleep Site
2. Package and distribute fresh produce and shelf-stable food for people with food insecurity.
3. Volunteer Income Tax Preparation. We will train you to be an IRS Certified tax preparer. From January to April, you will work with hunters of volunteers helping people file their taxes for free.
4. Tax Site Greeter - Help people check into their tax appointments and make sure they have all their papers together. Donor/Volunteer Opportunities
5. Host a Meal for unhoused people living in their vehicles. This opportunity is available 365 days a year.
6. Run a work, school, or community DRIVE and collect Blankets, Tarps, toiletries, and or Towel Drives

Dreams for Change is a 501(c)(3) organization that was founded in 2009 by our CEO, Teresa Smith, Ph.D. The mission of Dreams for Change remains its guiding beacon: To respond to the needs of communities by creating innovative and cost-effective programs to empower and stabilize the lives of families and individuals.
