About this Opportunity

Brief Organizational Description:
Peter Paul supports the East End community through a variety of free programs.

Volunteer Position Description and Purpose:
We need volunteers to serve as reading and math buddies. We have students ranging from 1st grade through 12th grade, but most opportunities will be with elementary students. Buddies have more of a supportive role while tutors take on more of an academic/teaching role.

Volunteer Duties & Responsibilities:
Reading or doing math with the same student each week on a set schedule.

Qualifications, Skills, & Requirements:
Onboarding is quick. There are three online forms, an online background check, and a brief orientation/tour.

Time Commitment:
These shifts are from 4-5pm and you will meet with the same student, once per week, at a set day and time.
