About this Opportunity
This volunteer position is for the Set Up and Kitchen Shift of Interim Housing at JOURNEYS | The Road Home, a homeless services organization in Palatine, IL. Interim Housing is our up-and-coming overnight shelter program. For this shift, volunteers would take precooked items from the fridges and heat and serve them to our guests. The shift is from 5:30pm-8:30pm. Attending a volunteer training session is required before you can volunteer!
*A security guard will arrive on the premises at 7:30pm and be present until 7:30am.
