About this Opportunity
Opportunity Overview:
We are looking for volunteers to assist in caring for the gatehouse pollinator garden at World's End. If your passion is gardening, and you have a few hours a week to spare, we would love your help! This position would be perfect for individuals who have a flexible schedule, enjoy the outdoors, and have a basic knowledge of gardening. The ideal candidate should be equally comfortable working independently as well as on a team.
Reports to: Head Ranger
Time Commitment Needed
The minimum time commitment is 1 hour/week, during daylight hours. Volunteers are most needed during weekdays.

- Care for the pollinator garden by watering, weeding, trimming, and more.
- Maintain communication with staff
- Adhere to The Trustees safety and COVID-19 protocols
- Must self-report volunteer hours weekly
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate with staff
- Ability to walk on a variety of surfaces including grass or uneven surfaces
- Ideal candidates would be able to commit to a consistent schedule
- Previous garden experience preferred, but not required
- Please note: a background check is required for this role
