Development Volunteer – Help Us Restore History

Description: Are you passionate about making a real difference in your community? Join our Development Team as a volunteer and help bring vital funding to one of the most treasured historic venues in the region! We're looking for enthusiastic, creative, and people-oriented individuals to support fundraising efforts through donor outreach, event planning, campaign brainstorming, and more.

Whether you're a seasoned fundraiser, a student looking to gain experience, or someone who simply loves connecting with people for a cause—you can help us build a brighter future for North Star House. This role is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit development, marketing, and communications, while helping preserve a legacy that matters. 

Opportunities include:

• Supporting donor thank-you campaigns

• Helping plan fundraising events

• Researching grant and sponsorship opportunities

• Spreading the word through email, social media, and community networks

Your time and skills can help make history last. The development committee meets once a month on the 1st Thursday of the month.
