About this Opportunity

OC Habitats and Huntington Beach Wetlands Conservancy partner to restore the sensitive and critical wetland habitat along our coastline. Our projects include invasive species and debris removal, planting (during wet season), and nursery work as needed. We provide the tools including gloves and water station.

Location: Huntington Beach Wetlands Conservancy - 21900 Pacific Coast Highway Huntington Beach, CA 92646 

Event Time: 9 - 12 PM. Please plan to arrive by 8:45 AM for check-in. 

Parking: Free and available in the back lot behind the Interpretive Center and Wildlife Care Center. Overflow parking available in front lot.

Restrooms are available at the HBWC Headquarters.

Bring: Wear layers in case of hot or cold weather, hat/sunscreen, sunglasses, refillable water bottle, and work gloves. All attendees must wear appropriate attire that includes closed-toe shoes with sole grip, long pants, hats, sunscreen, long sleeves, and jackets for weather. We will work rain or shine but will cancel if conditions are unsafe for our volunteers. You WILL get dirty!

Provided: Tools, gloves, trash bags and water refill station will be provided

Waiver: All attendees need to fill out a waiver, which is good for the calendar year. Minors must have forms signed before drop off. No minors under 14 should attend without parent/guardian as chaperone. On the day of the event, please show a proof (screenshot or email confirmation) that you signed the waiver.
