Basketball Coach / Referees / Scorekeepers

Do you love basketball and want to make a difference in the lives of teens? Join us as a volunteer in our 3 on 3 Pick-Up Basketball League! This is an incredible opportunity to engage with teens, teach / grow basketball fundamentals, and foster a sense of community. Whether you have a passion for refereeing, scorekeeping, or announcing, your contribution is vital to our program’s success.

Volunteer Roles:

• Referees: Ensure fair play, enforce rules, and maintain the flow of the game. Referees are crucial for creating a positive and safe environment where all players feel respected and valued.
• Scorekeepers: Track points, fouls, and game times. Scorekeepers are essential for maintaining accurate game records and ensuring that the league runs smoothly.
• Announcers: Keep the energy high by announcing games, highlighting key plays, and engaging the audience. Announcers add excitement and a sense of professionalism to our league.

How the League is Played:

• Game Structure: Each game lasts 10 minutes and is played back-to-back. The winning team keeps the court and plays against the next challengers.
• Fun and Competitive: This fast-paced format keeps players engaged and motivated, fostering both friendly competition and teamwork.

As a youth serving organization, we are obligated to follow the requirements of Senate Bill 506 for all volunteers.  The process is short and all costs are covered by the program.
