This summer, become part of something warm, powerful, and truly meaningful.

The Blanket Brigade is a hands-on community service project at Fairfield PAL where volunteers come together to create cozy, comforting blankets for SANE-SART, a local organization that supports survivors of violence and trauma.

No experience? No problem. We’ll show you everything you need to know.

🤝 Two Ways to Help:

🧶 Knot Squad – Learn our super simple no-sew method (seriously—it’s just like tying your shoes!) and help assemble soft fleece blankets that offer comfort and care.

✂️ Sew Crew – Team up with a professional seamstress and learn beginner sewing skills while crafting thoughtful, stitched pieces of comfort.

Whether you're creative, crafty, or just caring, we have a spot for you.

✅ Requirements:

• Must be 16 years or older

• Must complete a quick volunteer clearance process per California’s SB 506
  (Includes DOJ background check + mandated reporter certification—we’ll help you!)

• A warm heart and willingness to help—no craft experience needed!
