Volunteer Videographer – Summer Action Sports

🌟 Your volunteer work behind the Camera Can Change the Game!

Are you passionate about video, editing, and storytelling? Want to be where the energy is? Join Fairfield PAL this summer and help bring the stories of our youth programs to life through action-packed footage of:

🥊 Boxing
🥋 Kajukenbo
🏀 3-on-3 Basketball

We’re looking for creative volunteers to help film, edit, and produce content that highlights the strength, growth, and determination of our members.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Film live action from boxing matches, martial arts classes, and basketball tournaments.

• Capture behind-the-scenes moments, interviews with students, and pre/post game highlights.

• Edit footage into short videos, reels, or sizzle clips for social media and internal highlights.

• Work alongside staff and students to elevate youth voices through digital storytelling.

• Support promotional efforts to showcase our members progress and growth!

🎓 Great Opportunity For:

• Students studying film, media, or digital marketing

• Aspiring sports videographers or content creators

• Teens and young adults who want real-world portfolio experience

• Creatives who want to make a difference and build connections

✅ Requirements

• Must be 16 or older

• Complete a simple clearance process required by California SB 506
  (Includes Mandated Reporter Training + DOJ Background Check – we’ll help every step of the way!)

• Basic video skills or willingness to learn (we’ll coach you!)

• Access to your own smartphone, DSLR, or video equipment preferred (but not required)
