About this Opportunity
Northern Westchester Hospital is seeking volunteers to assist patients and staff in the emergency department. This volunteer position is a rewarding and valuable experience during which volunteers will make rounds to patients' rooms to check in on them, direct patients to and from their rooms as needed, provide them with the supplies they need, entertain children, and assist staff with any clerical needs.
Requirements:
- Weekly commitment of 2-4 hours
- Mandatory training
- Up-to-date with health and vaccine requirements
- Hospital uniform jacket
