Saving Our Youth Graduation Event Volunteers

The mission of Saving Our Youth is to provide after school programs structured to boost academic performance, reduce risky behaviors, promote physical health, and provide a safe, structured environment for youth in grades 6-12.

Volunteer Position Description and Purpose:

At the end of each school year, we celebrate our youth with a graduation event that showcases the culmination of their growth, experiences, and accomplishments throughout the year. From artwork and activities to stories from our programs, the evening highlights the impact of community and mentorship in their lives. We invite our community to join us for a buffet dinner, connect with our students and mentors, and learn more about our mission. This year, we are also looking for a few volunteers to help make the event a success.

Volunteer Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greeters/Check in table
• Food servers
• Set up/break down
