About this Opportunity
Alzheimer's Association is seeking volunteers who are passionate about pickleball to become Pickleball Volunteer Leaders for its "Do What You Love to End ALZ™" program.
Energetic and well-connected pickleball enthusiasts will recruit and coach fellow players to start fundraising teams and rally their communities in support of Alzheimer's care, support, and research. Whether a player, organizer, or just a lover of the game, Pickleball Volunteer Leaders have an opportunity to lead with purpose and grow the movement through the sport they love.
Pickleball Volunteer Leaders will:
- Recruit pickleball players, clubs, and communities to start fundraisers
- Coach participants on how to set up and promote their events
- Host recruitment events and round robins to engage new fundraisers
- Connect with local businesses (e.g. paddle companies, courts, leagues) for sponsorships and partnerships
- Table at tournaments, give presentations, and attend community events
- Write thank-you notes, send follow-ups, and celebrate milestones
- Represent the Alzheimer's Association mission with energy and heart
Alzheimer's Association will provide all training and tools—volunteers bring the passion, connections, and love for the game in order to rally the pickleball community to end Alzheimer's! Express interest below.
