About

The Alzheimer's Association has many opportunities, from administrative support and community outreach to fundraising support. We are looking for virtual help with tasks including updates to online community calendars, creating graphics and other marketing materials using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva, making phone calls, writing and distributing simple news releases. We are also looking for volunteers and committee members for our two signature events, the Walk to End Alzheimer's and The Longest Day. We are also looking for program support as well where you can run support groups, be a community educator and more!

It is the nation's oldest and largest voluntary health organization dedicated to advancing research and care for persons living with Alzheimer's disease and related forms of dementia, and their family members, caregivers, employers and general community.

The Alzheimer's Association Hudson Valley Chapter provides support and assistance to the Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster and Westchester counties in New York. The Chapter is a unit of the Alzheimer's Association (Chicago, IL) and is committed to carrying out the mission of the Association at the local level. The Alzheimer's Association leads the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection and maximizing quality care and support. Its vision is a world without Alzheimer's and all dementia.

Volunteer Opportunities
