About this Opportunity

This is a project for a group of volunteers. Gather your friends, family and coworkers!

All 8 of our shelters rely on volunteer groups to provide dinners each night of the year, and sack lunches/dinners are also a welcome treat! A team essentially "adopts" a shelter for a night, planning a menu, procuring food, cooking, and serving a full meal for all residents to the shelter (60-100 people). With 8 shelters to feed, there are openings frequently!

We can help you with menu ideas and advice for cooking for large groups. This is a great activity to do with your coworkers, family or friends. See the direct and immediate impact your support has on our participants!

At Transition Projects, our team works to engage folks at all levels of their journey from homelessness to housing. Whether it's getting critical support to our unhoused neighbors on the street, providing shelter for folks to reset and set their sights on housing, or bringing online innovative, deeply affordable housing solutions, we meet and support the many needs of the community we serve.

Make a direct impact on your community by providing a nutritious and delicious meal living in shelter. Get to know your unhoused neighbors and build community.
