Village Family is seeking a friendly and energetic videographer and a photographer for our food pantry community outreach distribution. The job entails capturing, editing, delivery of footage and working with others, large crowds, and greeting others with a smile. MUST Have OWN EQUIPMENT and  be available to work weekends. Event will be up to 3 hours  (plus travel, set up, and break down) and occur mostly on a  Friday  Saturday, or  Sunday. This is a volunteer unpaid event.

Videographers shoot and edit video footage. Videographers may be responsible for transporting or setting up their equipment, shooting, hauling it away, and then creating the movie or film clip.

Some typical responsibilities include:

• Working with Village Family outreach director to create the film or video product

• Interviewing people and creating a film clip via editing raw footage

• Working in the studio as part of a production team to edit film

• Inserting closed captioning, graphics, or other on-screen text into a video

• Adding computer graphics and special effects to a video

Village Family is looking for volunteers to photograph and/or record to capture pictures and footage at upcoming community outreach events.

Village Family is a 501(c)3, not-for-profit organization hunger-relief organization dedicated to providing food, clothing, educational and outreach referral resources to those in need throughout Hampton Roads.   Nothing else matters when you are hungry.
