Summer of Service- Pack with Purpose

Each summer, YVC hosts two episodic service opportunities a week as part of our Summer of Service, giving youth the chance to show up, help out, and make a real impact.

Join us for a meaningful day of service as we come together to support individuals experiencing homelessness in Berks County. Volunteers will assemble summer-themed care packages filled with essential items, along with handwritten cards to share messages of encouragement and kindness. These packages will be distributed by the Berks Coalition to End Homelessness.

This is a great opportunity to give back, connect with others, and make a direct impact in our community. Every package and every note is a small act of kindness that can bring comfort, dignity, and hope to someone in need.

This opportunity is open to youth aged 11-18.
