About this Opportunity

Standing at the foot of Mount Elgon, 150 miles east of the bustling capital city of Kampala, stands FIMRC's clinic at Project Bududa. The community is comprised of approximately 10,000 to 15,000 inhabitants with an average annual income of $200. As a volunteer, you will work with our staff to assist with patient intake and management, taking vitals, observing patient examinations with our clinical officer, and assisting in the pharmacy. Volunteers also attend home visit follow-ups for patients alongside our Community Health Educators (CHEs), work with our orphans program and teach health education in a number of different settings.
