Marketing Volunteer - Community Garden

The Community Garden Marketing volunteer will focus on developing and supporting marketing activities for the Lettuce Live Community Garden. The volunteer will create content and manage social media channels to engage and grow our volunteers and supporters.

Responsibilities:

• Develop marketing plan including web, social media and email newsletters to engage and grow volunteer and supporters
• Create content for newsletters, flyers, website content, Instagram and Facebook posts, and support other marketing initiatives as needed
• Maintaining engagement across all social media platforms
• Assess opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• Service oriented with a desire to learn more about nonprofit work
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Exceptional organization and time management skills with an attention to detail
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team
• Flexibility, with a strong work ethic and ability to multitask
• Some graphic design experience

This position will benefit someone who is interested in marketing, education, and community involvement.
