Public Relations/Social Media Intern

We are looking for a reliable energetic person with social media/public relations experience to join Katherines Breakfast For Survivors committee.

Annually the Katherine and Everett Robinson Foundation hosts Katherines Breakfast For Survivors, a free breakfast honoring breast cancer survivors. The annual event has been a significant opportunity for survivors to come together for support, education and to receive some well deserved pampering. Immediately after the breakfast, we host our annual fashion show featuring music from Houstons DJ Supastar and couture fashions by established designer.

The ideal volunteer would have experience with engaging the public and the media on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter.

Duties:

• Attend 2.5hr monthly meeting

• Develop media advisories

• Develop marketing plan

• Secure media coverage

• Create a social media strategy

• Monitor and update social media accounts (Facebook & Twitter)

• Create monthly newsletter

• Work from-home
