Parks Volunteer

Newaygo County Parks are seeking volunteers who enjoy the outdoors and want to explore the Parks and Recreation world. These volunteers can schedule their hours and work directly with park staff any day or time of the week. Tasks can include customer service, light maintenance, helping in the office, and any other activity you would like to try in a park setting. Volunteers will coordinate their schedules with the Assistant to the Director and may report to work at one of our many locations. Volunteers will work with our Park Mangers to set up tasks and programs they would like to do to help improve our parks. This opportunity is very flexible and can be used for school service hours.

Minimum qualification:

- Passing a criminal background check is required, as these volunteers will be interacting with the public
