Newaygo County Welcome Center Volunteer

Welcome Center Volunteers staff the Newaygo County Welcome Center and work as our first point of contact with tourists visiting the area and locals looking for more information about their community. Welcome Center volunteers can work very flexibledayswith hours they set themselvesby coordinating with ourAssistant to the Director. Our times of need are Saturdays 10am to 2pm, Memorial Weekend through the end of October. However, we will be happy to have volunteers any time they would like to work. All volunteers are eligible for our volunteer rewards program that can result in free camping and park access.

Minimum Requirements:

- Ability to pass a driving and criminal background check

- Attend a Welcome Center Volunteer Training
