Plan & Execute Simple Activities or Games as an Individual Volunteer or Small Group at Day Program.

Pleasant View supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It can be difficult to meet people and start natural relationships in the community. We need your help to provide opportunities for the individuals we support to make connections and build friendly, meaningful relationships with people in the community.

You can volunteer:

• with a small group to plan and implement a fun activity (i.e.: play a game, art project, sing to music, simple cooking project)
• to get to know an individual you already have made an acquaintance and want to know better
• to meet and get to know someone new
• with a small group of people who want get to know people who attend our day program
• or make another suggestion and we will work with you

Volunteers will receive training before their first day of service. You will need to return the attached or online (https://pleasantviewinc.org/careers-and-volunteers/) application along with a negative TB test you secure from a physician.
