Description: The UI/UX Mentor will be responsible for mentoring the Technical interns at Thaddeus.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) concepts for our digital platforms.
Conduct user research and analyze user feedback to inform design decisions.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools like Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
Collaborate with the tech team to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
Develop and maintain our design system and style guide.
Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and best practices.
Requirements:
Have completed a Bachelor's degree in UI/UX, IT, Computer Science/Engineering or related studies.
5+ years’ experience working in IT, business management or a related field.
Experience in teaching and coaching.
Possess strong personal integrity and ethical principles.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Possess strong organizational, problem-solving and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
Time Commitment and Working Conditions:
The responsibilities for this role are performed 100% remotely.
5 hrs./week including mandatory meetings.
1-year minimum.
Must be available for the following VIRTUAL weekly meetings:
Weekly All Staff Meeting: Tuesdays 9-10 AM PST.
Weekly Tech Department Meetings: Thursdays 9 AM - 11 AM PST.
