About this Opportunity
The Technology Access Program or “TAP” helps bridge the gap between older adults and technology. Volunteer “TAP Trainers” help older adults connect to the Internet and set up their devices, teach them how to use specific apps or features, and troubleshoot problems when they arise.
TAP Trainers support older adults in their individualized short-term tech goals and guide them through a curriculum suited for their specific devices and operating systems. TAP Trainers may also create content for the program, such as how-to guides or tip sheets.
TAP Trainers must have general knowledge of tech devices and operating systems, like Mac, Android, and Windows.
Time commitment: Approximately 1-2 hours per week.
