About this Opportunity
The Nutrition Program addresses multiple issues faced by older adults, including poor nutrition, food insecurity, chronic disease, and social isolation. The program provides nutritionally balanced meals, screening, education, and counseling to help older adults maintain a healthy nutritional status. Nutrition Program volunteer opportunities include Meal Site Assistants (serve lunches to seniors at congregate dining sites) and Ensure Deliverers (deliver Ensure supplement shakes to seniors at their residences).
