Gender Freedom Society is seeking a dynamic and organized individual to fill the position of Podcast Guest Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, booking, and coordinating guests for our podcast episodes. You will work closely with the podcast hosts and production team to ensure a diverse range of voices and perspectives are featured on our platform. This role requires excellent communication skills, a keen eye for identifying potential guests, and a passion for advancing gender equality and LGBTQ+ rights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential guests who align with the mission and values of Gender Freedom Society.
  • Reach out to potential guests via email, phone, and social media to extend invitations to participate in podcast episodes.
  • Coordinate scheduling and logistics for guest appearances, including confirming availability, arranging interview times, and providing necessary information.
  • Maintain organized records of guest contacts, communications, and scheduling details.
  • Collaborate with the podcast hosts and production team to develop episode themes and guest suggestions.
  • Cultivate relationships with guest speakers, influencers, activists, and experts within the gender equality and LGBTQ+ communities.
  • Stay informed about current events, trends, and topics relevant to the mission of Gender Freedom Society to inform guest booking decisions.
  • Monitor podcast industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential guest opportunities and stay ahead of developments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Media Studies, Gender Studies, or related field preferred but not required
  • Previous experience in talent booking, guest relations, or podcast production is highly desirable but not required
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Familiarity with podcasting platforms, social media channels, and contact management systems
  • Demonstrated passion for gender equality, LGBTQ+ rights, and social justice issues
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Google Workspace applications
