Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity- Construction Volunteers (Teams of 4-8)

Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity needs teams of 4-8 volunteers to assist with construction.

Tasks: (will vary depending on our stage of construction)

• Capping foundations
• Framing walls
• Sheeting walls
• Roof trusses & shingles
• Siding
• Windows
• Doors
• Insulation
• Drywall
• Flooring
• Trim
• Cabinets & Counter-tops
• Painting
• Etc.

Qualifications:

• Friendly and helpful attitude.
• Self-motivated.
• No experience is necessary.

Requirements:

• Children under the age of 16 are not permitted on the construction site.
• Children under the age of 18 cannotnot engage in hazardous activities such as roofing, being on ladders or using power tools.
• Team of 4-8 volunteers.

Tuesday-Thursday

• 8:30am 3:30pm (with 30 minute lunch break)

Saturday

• 8:30am 3:00pm (with 30 minute lunch break)
