Habitat for Humanity ReStore - General Volunteer

The Habitat for Humanity ReStore needs flexible volunteers who will jump in and help as needed.

Tasks: (will vary with each volunteer opportunity but may include the following)

• Provide general assistance to customers.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of aisles and merchandise.
• Complete donation intake forms.
• Unloading and staging donated items.
• Inspect, clean and test incoming donations.
• Package and label incoming donations.
• Stocking the sales floor.
• Disassemble items for recycling.
• Dispose of materials as needed.

• Friendly and helpful attitude.
• Willingness to help a diverse customer base.
• Self-motivated.
• Outgoing personality.
• To act as the face/ambassador for Habitat for Humanity.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds/team lift when necessary.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to stay on your feet for an extend period of time.
• No prior volunteer experience is necessary.

• Volunteers must complete the ReStore orientation prior to volunteering. (Offered several times a month).
• Volunteers age 14 and older are welcome.

• 8:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
• 12:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
• 3:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
