About this Opportunity
Board of Trustees:Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum
Join the Board of Trustees of theMt. Kearsarge Indian Museum(MKIM), and become a driving force behind this gem of a museum and cultural center, whose mission is to serve as a living center for artistic expression, traditional values, and contributions from past and contemporary Native life.
We're in search of enthusiastic, hands-on leaders who are eager to volunteer their time to influence the transformative path of our nonprofit, which is in an excellent position to think about getting to the next level. Your valuable experience will play a key role in envisioning potential new initiatives, creating solid plans, bolstering fundraising efforts, and laying groundwork for the future of this remarkable institution.
MKIM is particularly important for New Hampshire, which has no Federally- or State-recognized Native American tribes, and no reservation lands. Our galleries and events are one of the best ways for New Hampshire residents, who with out-of-town visitors number among the 8000 people who visit us annually, to experience the richness of Native cultures. Take this opportunity to help us chart our course for the next generation!
