About this Opportunity

Join the Board of Trustees at the Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum (MKIM)and help shape the future of this unique museum and cultural center. Our mission is to serve as a living center for artistic expression, traditional values, and contributions from past and contemporary Native life.

Were seeking enthusiastic, engaged leaders who are excited to volunteer their time and talents to help guide our nonprofit as it reaches for the next level. Your expertise can make a meaningful impactwhether by sparking new initiatives, strengthening our strategic plans, boosting fundraising efforts, or helping build a strong foundation for years to come.

MKIM plays a vital role in New Hampshire, a state with no Federally- or State-recognized Native tribes and no reservation lands. Each year, approximately 8,000 visitorsincluding local residents and travelers from outside the regioncome to experience the rich cultural heritage presented in our galleries and events.

Now is a great moment to be part of our journey! Help us chart the course for the next generation.
