Volunteer Needed - Uplift someone with your presence.

Providence Elder Place is an innovative program of services for older adults. Providence Elder Place helps older adults remain as healthy and independent as possible in the community for as long as possible.

How beautiful it is to find someone who asks for nothing but your company.

One of our participants would love to have a volunteer visit her in person! Though she has some anxiety it shouldnt be an issue when being visited as she loves to chat. Shes a fan of Western Country music, arts and crafts, and word games such as hangman.

You can give as little as an hour a week. Schedules are flexible; follow whatever works for you and your senior companion. Bring a buddy if you want!

No prior experience required. Training and education provided.

• 16+ years of age
• Feel comfortable interacting with people at different cognitive levels
• Be a good listener
