Building pathways beyond poverty - Event volunteers needed for annual Gala!

Do you have experience supporting events? Interested in learning about nonprofit event coordination? Whether you want to gain more experience with events or just want to get more involved with Solid Ground, join us to make this year's Gala a success!

About Gala: Our Gala is a gathering of supporters and partners invested in creating a community where everyone can thrive. Attendees enjoy an open bar, a delicious 3-course dinner, inspiring stories of perseverance and growth - and a call for support to help build more pathways beyond poverty. The party continues after the program with live music and more celebrating!

Gala Event Volunteer:Volunteers play a key role in making sure our events run smoothly. We'll need support with the roles below.

• Greeters: greet guests as they arrive and direct them towards check-in and coat check
• Check-in volunteer: assist the cashiering team with finding name packets, manage the line, answer questions, etc.
• Coat check volunteer: help guests hang up or find their coat
• Raffle sellers: sell raffle tickets during cocktail hours
• Bid spotter: assist auctioneer with identifying raised paddles
• Photo booth assistant: greet guests, manage the line, and keep props organized
• Cleanup volunteer: begin takedown in the lobby and ballroom areas around 8:30pm
