Bring Smiles to our Seniors: Share a Purrfect Visit with Your Cat!

Looking for a way to make a difference in the lives of others and enjoy some quality time with your furry friend? Become a Pet Visit volunteer at Lyngblomsten!

Here's how you can brighten someone's day:

• Visit senior residents with your well-behaved cat (or dog, rabbit, etc.!)
• Share the joy of companionship through petting and interaction
• Chat with residents and create lasting connections

Requirements:

Your friendly and outgoing cat (or other well-behaved pet) must be at least 1 year old and up-to-date on vaccinations.

New volunteers will attend an orientation and complete a Dept of Human Services background study with fingerprinting (state requirement for working with vulnerable individuals).
