About

Lyngblomsten was founded in 1906 by 11 Norwegian women who started taking care of their aging immigrant friends! They named us after the National flower of Norway, the Lyng flower. They wanted us to grow deep roots, just like the flower. Today, we serve almost 400 people on the Lyngblomsten campus in a Care Center and two apartment buildings. We also serve the community of White Bear Lake through caregiver services and group respite programs, mainly with people living with memory loss.
