Spend quality time chatting with residents, sharing stories, and creating meaningful connections that combat loneliness and isolation.

As a Lyngblomsten volunteer you'll have the opportunity to develop new skills, experience the joy of giving back, and gain valuable experience working with seniors.

Here are some of the ways you can get involved:

• Assisting with social events like lively Bingo games and Ice Cream Socials
• Playing games and reminiscing with residents
• Providing companionship through the "Special Friend" program where you are paired with a resident based on interests
• Offering wheelchair assistance to in-house events
• Participating in "Fancy Fingers" (manicures) and other creative activities

Complete a volunteer application athttps://www.volgistics.com/appform/23212736. We provide an orientation to familiarize you with our residents and procedures. New volunteers will complete a background study with fingerprinting (state requirement for working with vulnerable individuals).
