Parking Ambassador During the Fair

Help us keep our parking lots available for visitors, volunteers, and employees during the State Fair. Due to our location near the fairgrounds, we need assistance screening cars entering our parking lots to make sure they are visiting a resident, volunteering, or working at Lyngblomsten.

Youll greet cars entering the parking lot and give parking permits to those who are here to visit a resident or work/volunteer in a Lyngblomsten department. State Fair parking requests will be directed to other areas of the neighborhood. Shifts will be 2-3 hours and involve being outside and standing or walking during that time. Each volunteer will receive a free ticket to the State Fair for shifts worked.

We have shifts available from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM and 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM on these dates: August 21, 22, 25, 26, 27, 28, and 29.
