Make Friendly Calls to Socially Isolated / Lonely Adults

Do you enjoy chatting and socializing on the phone? We welcome you to become a Friendly Caller and make meaningful phone calls a few hours weekly to adults who are socially isolated or lonely and with whom you share hobbies and interests.

Volunteer from your own home using a call hub to respect privacy and confidentiality. Complimentary orientation and training provided and available virtually. Must be 18+ years old and live in New Jersey.

Samaritan abides by the National Hospice and Palliative Care guideline that anyone who has experienced a significant loss of a loved one within the past 12 months, you must wait one year from the date of loss before volunteering.
