About this Opportunity
This campground is in a remote area.
This campground is located in a remote area near the Big South Fork River of the Cumberland. Cell phone and satellite is virtually nonexistent.
Provide assistance to campers staying at the Alum Ford campground in Kentucky.
Duties include: 1) Work at or near the campground assisting visitors as needed. Disseminate information about Big South Fork natural and cultural history, and answer visitor questions. 2) Roam the campground to visit with campers, share information, correct minor infractions and keep park staff aware of vacancy status and other problems. 3) Police campground for litter and trash.
