This Position is Year Round 2020

A minimum of 24 hours work per week in the campground is required in exchange for the campsite. Duties consist of picking up litter from campsites and along roadways, cleaning ashes and debris from fire pits, blowing leaves and pine straw from campsites and roadways, and some mowing and weed-eating.

Special Skills: Volunteers should be able to work outdoors during periods of extreme temperature which varies from lows in the 30s in winter to highs of 100+ in summer. Familiarity with a variety of tools including lawnmowers, weed-eaters and leaf blowers is necessary. Skill in painting, light carpentry, electrical wiring, and plumbing is a plus.
