About this Opportunity

Opportunity Description: Volunteers are needed to remove graffiti and help maintain the appearance of physical structures, buildings and natural features within the park. Volunteers will remove graffiti from signs, buildings,structures and rock out-cropping(s) throughout the park. Volunteer will be walking varied distances over uneven terrain, using graffiti removing products, scrub brushes, application brushes and rollers, spray bottle applicators and power tools tools.

Must be able to work outside in varying weather conditions. Volunteers will need appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) i.e. nose and mouth mask, gloves, eye protection, food and water. Proper footwear-closed toe shoes- (boots or tennis shoes) must be worn at all times. Lifting, kneeling, bending over, and walking can be expected

Must be in good health and physical condition as some locations are difficult to access. Training will be provided as required to safely handle graffiti removal products and operate power equipment if available and/or used.

Schedule and Time Commitment Work schedule is flexible. Weekdays and weekends during daylight hours can be arranged. Schedule will be coordinated with appropriate park staff.
