Melvern Lake is actively recruiting for one (1) Arrow Rock Campground Cashless Park Host. This position will not be responsible for handling user fees, only to direct customers how to make reservations online and over-the-phone. This volunteer position requires 20 hours of work per week in exchange for a rv/camping pad. Duties will be required mostly on the weekends with sporadic work-weeks hours. This position will mostly be for informational and educational purposes on our new reservation process in this campground, including putting out reservation tags on campsites.

This position will include education and information for the public on the current transition from a contract park attendant to a cashless reservation system that operates completely online and over the phone. Applicants will be required to possess a valid driver’s license, complete a US Army Corps of Engineers chosen defensive driving course if volunteer vehicle is required, and be willing to work weekends throughout the summer-especially holiday weekends.

This will be a predominately outdoor position, requiring outside rounds around the campground to attend to visitors and reservations. This position will also be required to post reservation tags several times a week on campsite posts. Applicants will need to be comfortable working directly with the public. USACE Park Rangers will be available for assistance, but not be directly supervising all hours of the day.

Background Check is required
