11th Hour Volunteers Needed in North Dallas & Surrounding Areas!

Bristol Hopsice Dallas is seeking compassionate 11th Hour Volunteers to sit bedside with patients during their final hours of life. These special volunteers ensure that no patient dies alone, offering comfort, peace, and presence to both patients and their families.

What You'll Do:

• Sit quietly at the bedside, offering a calm presence
• Provide support and reassurance to families
• Read, pray, play soft music, or simply be present
• Be part of a compassionate team ensuring diginity at the end of life

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must complete all required volunteer onboarding and training prior to starting
• Warm, empathetic presence
• Completion of volunteer training
• Flexible availability (daytime, evenning, or weekends)
• Commitment to 2-4 hour shifts when available
