The Opportunity:

CrowdDoing is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Product Manager to drive the development and execution of our diverse portfolio of offerings. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our impact by translating our mission and strategies into tangible products, services, and experiences for our community and beneficiaries. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for social impact, strong technical aptitude, and exceptional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Management: Oversee and manage CrowdDoing's portfolio of products, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and maximizing impact.
  • Roadmap Development: Define and maintain clear product roadmaps, prioritizing features and initiatives based on strategic objectives, user needs, and resource availability.
  • Offering Development: Convert marketing strategies and programs into compelling offerings, including digital products (web, app, AI, etc.), services, and impactful experiences.
  • Feature Definition: Define detailed product features and user stories, working closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable plans for Agile sprint teams.
  • Agile Collaboration: Actively participate in Agile sprint ceremonies, collaborating effectively with development, design, and other cross-functional team members.
  • Community Product Development: Lead the creation of community-focused products, fostering engagement and participation within our global network.
  • Research & Insights: Drive the development of research reports and other knowledge-based offerings that contribute to our mission and thought leadership.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly across various functions, including marketing, technology, program development, and community engagement, to ensure cohesive product delivery.
  • Global Perspective: Leverage global experience and cultural sensitivity to develop products and offerings that resonate with diverse audiences and address international challenges.
  • Tool Proficiency: Utilize tools such as Miro, Figma, and Jira (knowledge a plus) to facilitate product planning, design collaboration, and project management.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably with a focus on digital products and services.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working with sprint teams.
  • Technical aptitude and a comfortable understanding of web, app, and emerging technologies (AI a plus). Technical experience is preferred.
  • A passion for environmental issues and a strong alignment with CrowdDoing's mission.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
  • Experience working across cultures and functions in a global environment.
  • Bachelor's degree required. MBA is ideal.
  • Familiarity with Miro, Figma, and Jira is a plus.
