Location: Remote (but we’re based in Tucson, AZ)

Time Commitment: 2-4 hours/week, flexible

Duration: Minimum 3-month commitment preferred

About Us:

Our Safe Space is a small but mighty nonprofit supporting individuals-especially those with feminine energy-through personal growth workshops, creative expression, and real community connection. We’re all about empowerment, laughter, and showing up as our beautifully imperfect selves.

The Gig:

We’ve got blog posts full of insight, graphics that pop, quotes that zing, and a backlog of creative gold... and we want to share it on Tumblr in a way that feels playful, smart, and inspiring.

We're looking for someone with a feel for Tumblr culture (past or present), a creative eye, and a heart for uplifting content. Your job? Help us build a space that feels like a digital hug, a high-five, and a rebellion against toxic perfectionism-all in one scroll.

Your Role Might Include:

• Posting 2-3 pieces of content per week (quotes, graphics, blog snippets, workshop wisdom)
• Helping us find the right Tumblr tags to reach our people
• Keeping our tone: warm, witty, inclusive, empowering
• Suggesting fresh ideas or themes we can play with
• Occasionally turning existing content into new Tumblr-ready formats

You Are:

• Familiar with Tumblr (or curious and ready to explore)
• Creative and self-directed
• Good with words and a little Canva-handy
• Into empowerment, community, and light-hearted real talk
• Not afraid to use a GIF with intent

Bonus Points If:

• You’re LGBTQIA+ or an ally
• You’ve worked with nonprofits or social justice orgs
• You like puns. Or playlists. Or pudding. (Ok, that last one’s optional.)

Tumblr may be niche, but it’s magic for reaching a younger audience who are already craving this kind of content. You’ll be part of bringing warmth, humor, and encouragement to people right when they need it most.
