What You’ll Do:
* Support camp leadership:
* Assist the Camp Director in planning, organizing, and overseeing all camp operations and programs.
* Supervise staff and volunteers:
* Help recruit, train, and manage camp counsellors and support staff to ensure a high-quality camper experience.
* Ensure camper safety and welfare:
* Monitor daily activities, enforce safety protocols, and respond to emergencies or incidents promptly.
* Coordinate program delivery:
* Oversee the implementation of recreational, educational, and social activities, ensuring they meet camper needs and camp goals.
* Manage administrative tasks:
* Assist with scheduling, record-keeping, budgeting, and communication with parents and stakeholders.
* Facilitate staff development:
* Provide ongoing support, coaching, and performance feedback to camp personnel.
* Assist with conflict resolution:
* Help address camper or staff issues effectively and maintain a positive camp environment.
* Step in during Camp Director absence:
* Take on leadership responsibilities as needed to maintain smooth camp operations.
This is a volunteer position, ideal for students, creatives, or anyone looking to get involved in meaningful work while sharpening their marketing skills.
