Volunteer Opportunity: Horse Leader - Help Support Riders in 30-Minute Equine Therapy Sessions!
At the American Therapeutic Riding Center (ATRC)
Join us as a Horse Leader! In this role, you’ll assist a certified PATH instructor and staff in supporting client riders during equine therapy sessions. As a Horse Leader, you’ll begin as a Side Walker to learn the dynamics of the client team and how to communicate effectively with our horses.
What You'll Do:
- Leadd the horse for riders throughout the 30-minute sessions, ensuring their safety and offering encouragement.
- Gain hands-on experience with our horses while assisting with tacking and barn maintenance.
- Step in as a Side Walker when needed.
