Event Planner / Event Coordinator / Special Events Planner

Are you passionate about creativity, social media, and community engagement? Join U+ Toastmasters as a Volunteer and make a positive impact on the community while promoting our inspiring public speaking and leadership programs!

What You’ll Do:

* Plan and organize events:

* Coordinate logistics, venues, vendors, and schedules to ensure successful execution.

* Manage budgets:

* Develop and monitor event budgets to control costs and maximize resources.

* Communicate with clients and stakeholders:

* Understand event objectives and maintain regular updates.

* Coordinate event marketing and promotions:

* Develop strategies to attract attendees and increase event visibility.

* Oversee event setup and breakdown:

* Manage on-site activities to ensure smooth operations.

* Handle registrations and attendee communications:

* Manage ticketing, RSVP tracking, and provide event information.

* Ensure compliance and safety:

* Adhere to legal, health, and safety regulations throughout event planning and execution.

* Evaluate event success:

* Collect feedback and analyze outcomes to improve future events.

This is a volunteer position, ideal for students, creatives, or anyone looking to get involved in meaningful work while sharpening their marketing skills.

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome volunteers who are enthusiastic, dependable, and excited to support our mission! Ideal candidates will have:

✔ Age between 12 - 30

✔ A positive attitude and willingness to learn

✔ Commitment to completing basic training

✔ Fluency in English

✔ Successful Vulnerable Sector Check (required if you’re over 18)

Bonus Skills

✔ Previous experience

✔ Fluency or high proficiency in another language besides English
