Powered By Love (PBL) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in Arizona with a vision to expand nationally. Since 2023, PBL has distributed more than 44,000 essential items, including hygiene kits, water, school supplies, clothing, and food—to unhoused and vulnerable communities.

To scale our mission and connect with more supporters, we’re building a stronger digital presence.

The Role

We’re looking for a volunteer to help us establish and strengthen our social media presence. You’ll bring strategy, creativity, and structure to PBL’s online platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a platform-specific social media strategy (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok)
• Create a 6–8 week posting calendar
• Draft captions, identify hashtags, and design 15–25 branded posts
• Provide recommendations for long-term growth and scheduling tools

Commitment & Deliverables

• Timeline: 6–8 weeks (approx. 2–3 hours/week; ~15–25 total hours)
• Deliverables:
  • Platform-specific social media strategy
  • 6–8 week content calendar
  • 15–25 posts (copy + graphics/templates)
  • Recommendations for tools and ongoing management

What We’ll Provide

• Brand guidelines and tone of voice
• Canva access, logos, and photos
• Key dates, initiatives, and content priorities
• Direct access to founder for alignment and feedback

Who You Are

• Experienced in social media management and/or content creation
• Skilled in copywriting and basic design tools (e.g., Canva)
• Creative, strategic, and familiar with social trends
• Passionate about using your skills to support a growing nonprofit
