Dog Loving Shopping Buddy Needed for Local Resident

A local resident needs a shopping buddy to assist them and their guide dog to navigate the grocery store aisles. Organized and armed with a list, this neighbor needs someone to select the preferred item, cue them to changes in store layout, prices or bargains and generally guide them through the store. This person has full hands with a guide dog and a cane but there are no problems with walking or getting in/out of the car - though you will need to help load/unload. Requirements to be a great volunteer include an absolute love of dogs:

desire to help others; pleasant demeanor; good reading/speaking voice; reading skills; organizational or planning abilities; good driving record; clear criminal history; two references; access to a car with proof of insurance; a minimum of $50/100k liability and $5,000 of property damage coverage.
